Following the conclusion of the first-ever women's Hockey India League edition, the attention is now squarely on the Bhubaneswar leg of the FIH Pro League 2024-25. Watch the hockey matches live on TV and online. (More Hockey News)

The Indian women will play hosts at the Bhubaneswar leg, which will be played at the ever-buzzing Kalinga Stadium from February 15 to 25. The Salima Tete-led Indian team will look to begin its campaign on a winning note, when it takes on England on February 15.

India have named a 24-member squad for the tournament, with Navneet Kaur as the vice-captain. The home team will take on Spain, Germany, Netherlands and England, playing every side twice.

Ahead of the matches, captain Tete said, “We can’t wait to play at the Kalinga Stadium again and win as many points as we can. We are facing challenging opponents but I am confident that the girls are ready to take on the challenge and do their best on the field. We had a disappointing season last time but I feel we are well-trained and prepared to do better this time around.”

Head coach Harendra Singh commented on India’s preparation ahead of the crucial matches and stated, “The girls have worked extremely hard in the camp and I am confident that we have a squad, good enough to play on-par with all our opponents. With the support of the home crowd behind us, we have crucial matches coming up and we need to focus on winning maximum points.”

Women's FIH Pro League 2024-25 Bhubaneswar Leg: Live Streaming Details

The team led by Ammad Butt, finally secured their first victory with a 2-1 win over Japan and then delivered a decisive 5-1 win against Chinasuper game, to enter the semi-finals. Their final pool match ended in a narrow 2-1 loss to India.
